American made ‘Gen 5’ safe-action semi-automatic compact pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, and manufactured in Smyrna, GA. The Glock 44 makes an excellent companion to and trainer for the Glock 19, as it's dimentionally identical with dramatically less recoil. Pistol features a hybrid steel/polymer bull-nosed slide with front and rear cocking serrations, a 4.02" barrel with Marksman rifling, fixed white dot front sight, micrometer adjustable square notched rear sight with white outlined, dual spring metal recoil assembly, smooth curved trigger with integrated safety, serrated ambidextrous stop, large serrated reversible push-button magazine release, factory 10 round magazines, flared magazine well, provisions for interchangeable backstraps, and textured black polymer frame with integral accessory rail on dust cover. The original matte black nDLC finish retained is approximately 99% with nothing remarkable. Metal displays no rust or deformation. The action is smooth and crisp, and the polymer frame is also excellent. The bore is bright with strong marksman rifling. Includes the original factory hard case with matching end label, documents, lock, cleaning tools, sight adjustment tool, two magazines total, and two backstraps.
